Yeah. Pretty sure that's what I wrote. Although to be fair, that doesn't say much as his performances haven't been brilliant this season. The occasional "good" performance.
Mbokani....brilliant control, dominated his CH despite being persistently fouled, best striker performance since Abel Huddlestone.. class again, Phelan's ridiculous substitution changed the game, our best player off - worst player on. Maguire....gets better every game, could be great in CMF. Dishonorable mentions Mason....pathetic again Madley...shocking ref, gave the Mancs CHs everything.
I thought Harry was head and shoulders our best player with Mbokani head and shoulders 2nd Harry Mbokani Elmo (Tom 4th)
Mbokani Hudd Maguire Really was a close call between Mbokani and Hudd, but just gave it to Mbokani who was handicapped by Madley the useless ****. Mason was abject when he came on, but Hudd and Jake should never have been subbed.
Mbokani - excellent hold up play - good forward, poor striker though Huddlestone - great touch and passing - been revelation last few games Elmo - great to see he's trying so close to the transfer window Dishonourable mention to Madley - determined to earn his bung for ensuring a Man Citeh win - even the lino had to check what to give in the first half - that was a corner shall I give it - no i'll give a dead ball - and as for not booking the MC Hammer defence when they pulled Mbokani back over and over again was a disgrace - You Sir are a Cheat!! Both Livermore and Maguire need shooting practice - the goals ****ing big enough the ball shouldn't balloon 10 yards over the bar - and whilst Maguire gives 100% and looks like a tank forging forward he really is much to slow in defence - totally lost his man and his bearings for the second Dawson - sorry mate, I think you're great but yesterday wasn't your best Snoddy - stop constantly arguing with your team mates However - much more enjoyable performance, spoilt mainly by Man Citeh's twelfth man
Mbokani 1, top performer a real beast up top, shocker that no citeh defender got booked Hudd 2, 4 matches in a row he's made the top 3, likewise with Elmo change in formation has made a massive difference Maguire 3, cannot believe he's been here so long and only just become a first choice player, shocker.
Maguire - steady defending but really good use of the ball when going forwards. Mbokani - some excellent hold up play and kept going despite constant pulling, pushing and tripping from then Manchester defenders. Huddlestone - generally played well but some excellent interventions in defence during the first half, substitution was a key mistake.
Tough one.. 1....Dawes 2.......Harry 3............Mb With noticeable contributions from Tom, Jake, Elmo As for the officials: Pi$$ Poor..
Mbokani. Ran himself into the ground but needs a strike partner. Thudd. Back to his best. Harry. Great strength, love it when he sets off on a run. No-one let us down apart from Phelan who for some reason decided to rip the heart out of our midfield and replace it with Delboy and Rodney. Play 2 up front please. We are still not dead and buried as last night demonstrated. Finally Bobby Madley should be ashamed of himself for becoming starstruck and letting numerous "assaults" on Mbokani go unpunished. (****).
