Seems like its just me who enjoyed his music. The guy managed to last in a fickle business for about 35 years sold over 100 million albums, Apparently he was working on another album and I certainly would have bought it. Did come across a bit weird and no doubt has been battling his own personal demons for some time. RIP
To me he was one of the greatest singer/songwriters this country has ever produced. He was a massive part of my growing up, I saw him live 3 times and listened to his music almost daily. A true legend. RIP George.
RIP. The guy is a British icon whether you liked his music or not. The industry is swamped with manufactured 'talent' from the Simon Cowell battery farm, so this guy deserves the utmost respect for his contribution. Sad that he has passed at such a young age and should prove as a timely reminder to everybody that life is too short to take for granted.
Just heard and whether you liked him or not, it's a huge waste of a talented bloke. Grew up with wham and one of my mates favourite bands so he will mourn him. Something we're not being told here though? At least he got to open his Xmas prezzies. RIP George Michael.
Not a massive fan but liked some of Whams stuff. Not really my cup of tea but what they did they did very well. Whichever way you look at it, it`s another talent gone. RIP.
Heart failure apparently. I read that he had a chronic cannabis addiction so probably a blockage to an artery through smoking. My Aunty died unexpectedly last Sunday at the age of 63. Totally out of the blue had no known health problems and seemed fit as a fiddle. Smoked like a trooper since she was 16 though and pm showed it was a cardiac arrest probably caused by smoking
There is a Target (No Target in the UK? Just think Walmart w/o the hillbillies) just across the street from a stadium/theater in a neighboring village. I sometimes shop there as it is on my way home from work. So, one day, maybe a decade ago, I'm at this Target and in seemingly every aisle I encounter a pack of three, always three, beautiful 20 something year old females dressed to bedazzle. I can neither believe nor understand my good fortune. I found out later that there was a Ricky Martin concert, just across the street, that same evening. Sometime after that Ricky Martin came out. I thought of all those beautiful and bedazzling young women - all dressed up and nowhere to go.
please log in to view this image I don't know which is Pepsi or Shirley, but I don't see the dilemma - that's a line up that picks itself.
Not sure where you get your figures from but I reckon the likes of Ian McKellen would laugh at you for it.
