We've arrived at a point where we have to go backward to go forward. What a ****ing shambles. This was talked about on Talksport the other day, its alright having the premiership money, but unless you have the leadership and more importantly infrastructure you're living a very short dream. Swansea have come from exactly the same place as us. They had one chairman, trying to do the right things, employing the right manager, attracting the right players, then the club is sold to Americans who know nothing and they're about to drop out too. The dream ended. We have no infrastructure, not even an acceptable first team training facility. The guy (dont know how name) who conducted transfer negotiations who left the club, back room staff not playing staff. Prepare unfortunately people for another 500 pages of NO NEW OWNERS because Hull City as we know it and love it is a dodo.
Has any other club got as many bridge jumpers as we have on here? Thank f'ck they don't attend.. Allams OUT
Guess your more than happy with tthe way the clubs ran and summer panned out Thank **** were not all happy clappers and have opinions
It's wrong then, Tyrone Mings already plays for Bournemouth (having just learned to walk again) and Zac Clough had played more than 3 senior games for Bolton. Gray plays for Leicester an arl.
When we sold Long and were quoted £10m for Deeney from Watford we should have snapped their hands off. Excellent player, leader on the pitch and a decent goals return.
Oooops i just looked at the date and had a very quick nosey The jist of it was promising young players outside the prem

And it's not even the 1st of January - by the 31st the stench of wet pants from this thread will make you gag, you'll be deafened by the sound of fists being beaten against chests, HRI will be snowed under with broken fingers from excessive hand wringing. Judge them not harshly AC, they know not what they do.
Robbie Keane and Peter Crouch til end of season with options to leave for free or pay cut if relegated or option for us to keep for another season if stay up. I think we need old heads with experience to keep us up rather than hoping on unproven youth

Invest in a decent manager should be the first priority .. For me Phelan with choices is a liability.. we got done to the tune of £13m for Mason .. then we bring in Weir Keane Marshall and Henriksen who have shown nothing to suggest they could improve on what we had .. Mbokani is the only one who is a minor upgrade .. doubtful we'll have money to spend but I wouldn't trust this bloke to spend a penny of it in any case
I'd take Crouch, Walters, Ings, Ulloa. Robbie Keane not a bad idea. From the Championship Marley Watkins at Barnsley 6 goals and 5 assists. (Most assists in the Championship for a striker) Scott Hogan I'd even have a look at Sam Winnall 10 goals - a goal every 149 minutes.
Yes we got our pants pulled down with Mason, but were any of them summer signings really Phelans? Weir and Keane maybe, but we were linked with the others under Bruce. It seems Etwat panicked at the end of the window and signed anyone he could get his hands on. That's why we should be getting our business done early in Jan. The fact that Phelans doesn't know whether he has money to spend, less than a week before the window opens is a disgrace. We should have players identified and bids in already. Unfortunately, with boy blunder running the club into the ground, I can't see us spending anything.
