Whatever the ins and outs of his leaving the England job I think having had his reputation tarnished I honestly didnt think he would ever manage in England again.

Palace have some good players but are those players prepared to graft like Sam had us doing after January, that could be the crux of him succeeding or failing.

I loved Sam's time with us but can't forgive him for jumping ship even if it was for his dream job which in hindsight it obviously wasn't as he saw greed ahead of glory as the England manager.

Do I wish him well at Palace? No I dont if it means sending us down. Time will tell.

Wonder what the reception will be for Sam when you lot play Palace, after he abandoned the club and thousands of fans at Hartlepool to sneak out the back door and sidle to England!

Wow. Let's revisit. Where have you got offence from what I posted?

Obviously it's caused you a great deal of consternation, as you are so offended you have resorted to name calling. I apologise if I have upset your man feelings.

I see. Thought this was an open forum and Allardyce to Palace a relevant big story which is worth discussing. Must be mistaken

So it's not there to stop people with offensive 1960s minds breaking the forum rules and technically, the law? Strange forum, this.

Actually I came on to discuss football, clearly evidenced by the post above, and was met with pathetic abuse. Therefore your instutionalized quip of camaraderie, is thoroughly ironic. I wonder if you realised that.

I like the idea that you have just called me a Journeyman Pipefitter.
When does one reach journeyman status as a Pipefitter exactly?

    More like a fartpipe sniffer.

Good attempt though, if it wasn't so predictable it could have worked.
