https://uk.yahoo.com/news/serbian-stewardess-survived-jet-crash-1972-dies-66-100631518.html I remember this. In 1972, an air stewardess survived a fall from 33K feet when a plane exploded. She was in the tail end and survived when everyone else died. She has now died at 66, so she got to have a life.
It's hard to imagine, but there was a time when Status Quo hadn't been heard of. This was the first thing some of us saw of them on TOTP, back when dinosaurs wandered this earth: RIP Rick Parfitt
You know what. At his time of year you look back at your life and all the things you've done/not done etc. One thing 2016 has taught me as a child* of the 70s/80s is thank god I never became famous. *Born 1969 so 10 in 1979, 20 in 1989. 47 in 2016 but still a huge child.
I absolutely love the Quo - slept next to my moped in 76 at Reading - more gutted about this than all the others this year
I interviewed Francis Rossi for a magazine a while back (will try and dig it up online) - he had some riotous stories about Live Aid!
Oh. My. God!!! RiP George - there'll be a hell of a jamming session going on in heaven after this year
