Christmas day will see Gareth Ainsworth and the lads travel to the west country for an over night stay before looking to extend their eight match winning run at Home Park against the top of the league Pilgrims where we are also on a remarkable run winning on our last five visits and another win would be the perfect Christmas present for all Chairboys. Gaz has no new injury worries and could be close to having a fully fit squad and with the Beast returning from suspension he should be back to continue his partnership with Scotty Kashket, both JJ and Pierre are only one yellow away from a ban but if they can stay out of trouble for the next two games the slate is wiped clean. This is a game I can't get to as it's a little to far to travel on Boxing Day and it will be a tough ask to expect our run to continue but we have already come away from one of the promotion favourites with a creditable draw and I wouldn't be surprised to see us come away with a point Merry Christmas everyone
Let's make it 6 wins there on the bounce Having The Beast back will make a big difference and hopefully Kashket can add to his goals tally and another clean sheet would be nice, only letting in 1 goal in the last 6 league games is a fantastic record Merry Christmas all you Chairboys
There's everyone being all festive and then along you come again colu. You seriously need to see somebody about that. You have to know that if you continue to be naughty Santa WILL miss you out again this year. I've been waiting for you to start your match thread on this one chaps and was interested to see what you might have to say. It's a tricky one this for sure. Are you indeed our bogey side? I don't think there is much to call in this one and I'm not totally convinced who if either will come out on top. Most of you seem to be happy if you come away with a draw and I suspect a lot of Greens might be of the same mind. I'm going to stick my neck out and plump for all 3 points for us this time. No particular reason to think that but am working on the principal of sods law and we are due a win. We have a plan to flood your dressing room with the smell of pasties so Beasty Boy might not have his head in the right place come kick off. I just saw Guywanderer's comment about not coming to this match as it's a bit too far. Try being a Green for a season and doing away matches. As said before, anyone who is coming then safe journey down and back and have a good Christmas but not Boxing Day.
Up early enough for this boxing day trip - we seem to be travelling further than any other side in the football league today, swear boxing day was meant to be local Honestly cant call this one, id take a point but wouldnt be surprised if either side won it. For us team selection will be interesting in the front 3 now bayo and hayes are back - presumably thompson will drop to the bench but will paris, and if not who is left on the bench? Not Kashket thats for sure! Hope you all had a merry christmas, and that argyle fans have a rubbish boxing day
