    Just wondered like with you being one of the rich retired. Seggison may have gone up market since I was last there and was a good place to be when not on holiday.

    Brought up there from the 50 s to the 80s
    Some great people live there
    But I have not been there untill recently
    Moved away 1983
    Not the place it was sadly
    Been there tonight few beer meal at the old club seen no one I remmember

    Nos did you live near there

    Yes mate, born in Chester but moved to Croft St before war for a couple of years then had to move back for family reasons. Unfortunately no family of my time left there now as we all departed in one way or the other. My Uncle Ned was long time manager of the Co-op on Plawsworth Road but moved to Carlisle for family reasons and Grandparents lived in John St. Summer treat was a week's holiday which I spend mainly down the dean with cousin.

    My great uncle Arthur timney lived in 17 John street
    My grandma James lived in 18 John street.
    In 1998 there was a murder in 17 John street.
    Some drug dealer shot
