That's a bit harsh Wiz ... OK as manager he didn't fare well but he was up against it when he put pen to paper as things panned out!
yep St holder continuous for 15/16 years would not if we went back down,to me that would smack of no ambition at all.The ground may be secondary to the football club, and be more profitable as a hosting arena
I have a brother teaching in China as well bcfcredandwhite but I prefer the warmth and lack of pollution down here in Mexico. A Coronita to your health.
Sadly I think SL has his sights on more profitable revenues coming in,as opposed to the loss making football club. Time will tell, but I smell a rat here.
In other posts you consistently want the club to buy players, increase its expenditure and so therefore losses. Mr Lansdown has been quite clear that the redevelopment x Bristol Sport is there to create income for a FC that is not viable as a business. Sell outs would not fund the transfers you call for or cover the costs of the current squad, and the FC's considerable debts.
Wouldn't you tend to think that Bristol City would be the foundation of Bristol Sports? Ashton Gate is the ancestral home of our football club and should remain a base in which we are the major component.
Bristol City are a fundamental part of Bristol Sport. Ashton Gate clearly will remain the club's home however the FC are now tenants who do not own or run the stadium and fans of the FC have no place on the board of BCFC or Bristol Sport. The foundation of this is Mr Lansdown's wealth.
