I suppose the other frecnh lads are around the same age as him too. i reckon we're going to have to be patient with him. til he finds his feet.
wouldn't say he's mentally fragile more of a confidence player the type you put your arm around instead of giving him a rocket (sensitive soul)
He's from the Clairefontaine Academy, which probably means that HBA beat him up, so he's bound to be a bit wrong in the head.
I've been perusing a couple of Manure boards and they all seem to say the same thing (that he's mentally fragile)
for someone that can beat a defender so easily you'd think he'd have a air of arogance to his game i.e. a bit of a competetive streak and a winning mentality.
The general consensus appears to be that if we can bring that Ronaldo style arrogance out of him then we'll have a beast of a player.
For some reason this signing is starting to excite me quite alot - he's a very quick player with loads of potential. I think he'll turn out good for us.
At first I was a bit underwhelmed at the prospect of Obertan but the more I have read about him it seems like he has the abilty and just needs the confidence and run in a team. On youtube, although they are just compilations of his best stuff, they do show that he has at least got something.
