    Yeh I said this on another thread. Easily the 4th best imo. But as MITO was saying, it has the feeling of Empire Strikes Back - it's quite gritty and dark especially the ending.

    our heroes don't sail off into the sunset and everything's wrapped up into "they lived happily ever after"

    I've twisted it to my own ends. But agree as that's exactly what I thought.

    Read a news article today that some high powered trump supporter was banned from Twitter for insinuating the film was anti Semitic.

    Tbh while the prequels were generally **** in the way they were executed, the plot eg. the way the republic rises etc always felt like they were anti-establishment, anti world superpowers etc.

    Well yeh if Darth Sidious who takes over the republic is america. The way they twist the clones so they are initially presented as an army to defend the republic, to then becoming stormtroopers who are the army of some fascist intergalactic state. Bit like the invasion of Iraq <whistle>
