To aid our great escape from the bottom of the Premier League Boxing Day has been officially designated Hull City day. For our match against Manchester City Supporters should bring scarves, flags, shirts and banners with the name Hull City on them to show support for the team If you don't have any merchandise with Hull City on it, make your own Supporters should clap, sing, stand, jump and cheer our lads throughout the match whatever the score Stay till the end and applaud our team off the pitch (no matter the result or performance) Supporters must not boo the team at any time, including half time and full time tut and moan when a ball goes astray Feel free to share Hull City Day on your Facebook page, Twitter account, etc. Lets get behind the team and show the world we are Hull City. We may be bottom at Christmas but we fight on.
- Supporters in the East stand should keep up a persistent haranguing of the linesman and referee, contesting every decision against us - Supporters all over the ground should refrain from gawping at the opposition's players during warm-up, remaining in their seats and avoiding taking photos - Supporters should not join in any entreaties to cheer the name of their own part of the ground - Supporters should not return the ball to players in the event of City taking the lead at any stage
Obi, I will not be attending on Boxing day due to circumstances beyond my control (got to collect her indoors from work at 4pm and we live in Leicester), however my HULL CITY flag (small as it is, but larger than a particular penis some are talking about), will be on show against Everton and every match I attend this season. Keep it going, it's a great idea and hopefully momentum will build.
This might be a silly question, but can the club stop other people selling gear that says City Hull rather than Hull City?
I've thought for ages that this should be our approach, the Allams can delete our name on social media and all the rest of it but there's nothing stopping the fans from going OTT and really forcing CITY down their throats on match days, the stadium should be littered with City banners on boxing day.
I think if you ignore the last line (after 'Note') then that's written perfectly for sharing wherever Nice one Obi
Bottom line now removed as the Trust have circulated a link to this page. Lets hope it works. Thanks PLT.
I'm fed up of some of our fans launching the ball quickly back in when we're (in the few occasions it has happened) in a winning position.
The trust are about as useful as a chocolate fire guard, all the momentum from Oxleys protest will now go down the ****ter because they've failed to act. And don't anyone tell me about organising something, i'm just a guy, they're the ones who can reach out to the masses. All it ****ing needed was a call for as many people as possible to bring the John Oxley sign and hold the ****ing thing up before kick off. If you're going to keep showing up these games atleast ****ing do something.
There's your problem. In your opinion that's all it needs. I've seen literally no one else suggest that and I don't know why you think it'd help so much. Whatever the reason is, you should have mentioned it before it was too late by your own admission. We're all just a guy too.
I've mentioned it plenty of times, i mentioned it the moment John Oxley was banned and why wouldn't it help? The average bloke in the street wouldn't have a clue about our lack of concessions, the least the fans can do is draw attention to it. We've got a global audience watching and there's nothing planned. It blows my mind.
