My costs vary from game to game. Some games I simply walk there watch it and come back... others I like to have a couple of drinks and food beforehand and in the case of Hapoel I spent about 60 quid drowning myself in Sailor Jerrys after the game Milan cost me about a grand in total Though I'm hoping to get around half back from insurance after having to pay 550 euro for a flight from Munich to Milan due to a delay
Everytime I see this thread has moved to the top of the pile I think there has been an update in takeover negotiations. Instead I come to find out how many pints each of us drinks on a match day!
If you ask the wife how much Milan cost me she'd say £400 all in. Sometimes I wonder if she really believes EVERYTHING I say....[emoji23]
You're not kidding there! I live near Saffend & went to see Chili Peppers play at O2 the other week .......... parking, PARKING £31.00 for the eve !! Nearly had heart attack.
6,000 fans @ a very conservative average expenditure of flight, hotel, food/drink per person = £2.5M Amazing spending power.
I'd be just as happy if the Mods changed the title to "Saints in takeaway talks with Chinese restaurant group". We could all contribute our thoughts on where to get the best gong bao chicken (or kung pao, depending on spelling), our favourite dishes etc, and how much it ought to cost once the deal is in place. Unless a Chinese consortium actually buys us, and then I'll be interested in the original title again.
English Chinese food is heaven! (because it's adjusted to the English taste) In every country they change the taste to cater to the locals. Serbian Chinese is 50% cabbage with a gallon of soy sauce - gross!
This thread should have been titled "Chinese group in take-over talks with Saints" because we're not trying to buy a Chinese team (yet)
You said the following yesterday - oh sorry, I thought we were buying a Chinese club which didn't make sense! Maybe the title should have been "Chinese group in take-over talks with Saints" We all just ignored it then, so stop persistently applying logic to anything Saints related - it's practically passive aggressive behaviour
Actually, I went for a Chinese last night. He didn't do anything, I just went for him ...I'll get my coat
