It was a great day out and brilliant result and to top it all we stopped at Woodhall services on the way back and who walked in but Caleb Folan and Anthony Gardener and were duly mobbed for photo shoots

For a lot of us, if it wasn't for away games there wouldn't be any games, period.

Away games are the best without doubt At least some of them are like Burnley, West Brom, Bournemouth (maybe not).

Anthony Gardener. I'd forgotten about him.

Looking at going to this one. Last time I went there was 2008 when we won 2-1. Up there as one of my favourite away days.

If he reads that he'll get upset & his Mum will have to ring in sick for him at whatever job he's doing now.

Went last time we played there, when Berahino scored in the last minute from a freekick.

Shocking match & i wished i'd just stayed in the Vine.

He only played 3/4 games at the start of the season then was injured for a while.

Our best run of form saw Turner and, incredibly, Zayatte as the centre back pairing.

Yep. For some reason* Zayatte gets a lot of stick despite being decent for us most of the time. Gardner was the only centre half I've seen who didn't challenge for headers for fear of getting bumped into. You expect it from someone like Ben Arfa or Hernandez, but a 6'5" centre half?

*More than one comical own goal

I like the way he keeps going on as if we're bothered about being relegated. We've got far bigger fish to fry, and on top of that if you'd asked us before a ball was kicked 99% of us wouldve expected us to finish bottom, never mind just go down.

Was that the free kick from 4 yards out after the McGregor/Elmo gaff?

Yep. It wasn't actually last minute, but it may as well have been as there was absolutely no way we were scoring that day. We played most of the game with Brady and Ince as a front two. I don't normally mind players 'out of position' too much with the exception of strikers. That day was a perfect example of why non-strikers can't play up front. Hernandez and Jelavic had started, after tearing Everton apart in the previous game, the first time Hernandez had really played well for us, but both went off injured within the first few minutes.

This is my closest fixture of the year. 2 stops on the train! Happy days.

Unfortunately all my mates are baggies fans so I'll be sitting in the home end.

Anyone know what is happening with WBA tickets. Thought they would have released the second block by now. I think last day for posting is tomorrow. Please tell me he hasn't ordered the minimum. Ticket office is closed today

Useless ****s still haven't made the 2nd block avilable online, there's only been a handful of singles left in the first block for days ffs.

The incompetence of those running this club is enough to make you weep.
