'1) Club has told everyone that VvD is going nowhere in Jan' but offers over £50m will be listened to in the summer. VvD has said he wants a move. Players agent involved.
2) City and Chelsea are both very interested but Dippers and Utd think better value elsewhere but that my change depending on UCL qualification.
3) Fonte; they'd heard nothing bar the gossip that he wanted a longer contract etc and was being hawked about my agent. General consensus was Everton maybe stupid enough.'

Apologies if already posted. BBC and Daily Rag reporting that City are preparing a 50million bid for VVD for January despite Saints giving a Hands-off warning until next transfer window.

The good lady always buys me the current Southampton shirt for Christmas printed with a name of my choosing. I have this horrible record of having the shirt printed and come the summer it is redundant because the player leaves. It's ridiculous! I won't tell you who I had printed this Christmas but it is a tough tackling, no nonsense Spaniard
