Check the sunrise/sunset times for the last few weeks Saint (for your own area obv.)

You'll see that they don't synchronise with the precise solstice date and time.
Light in these parts started increasing last week, not that anyone would notice :emoticon-0158-time:

That's because there's a discrepancy between astronomical time and calendar time. However there is still only one shortest day in the year, and this year it was today (as it is in most years).
If you're noticing later sunsets earlier in the month there will be corresponding later sunrises - the day isn't actually getting longer. Our clock day is out of sync with the solar day.

Oh they will. I've promised them a little bit of turkey on each of the twelve days of Christmas. Of course I'm going away at Christmas so I'm not sure who'll feed it to them, but I'm sure they'll be grateful nonetheless. They're not getting any stuffing though, oh no. They haven't been good enough for stuffing.

A bit of both. We also have Christkind, Father Christmas, and presents from ordinary people. Plus Nikolaus on December 6. It's crazy. Cultural differences make life hard you know.

Christmas + no footie = no talk.

We can talk about how great chelsea and conte are if you want. Conte thanking all the club staff, Chelsea players visiting kids in hospitals and more if you like.

    :D.
