It fills the time tbh. Every now and again, throw out a random post for you know who, and wait for the (guaranteed) bite

I don't think he is at the moment Stan. I'm sure he's currently with Boco Juniors but is being tempted to China with the numbers above.

    Wouldn't you be? £600k a week! Madness.

If the Chinese football league business model is sustainable then they will hoover up a lot of the top talent.

I can see a few players going there because of the money, but it would take a generation in my opinion to make the league as good the best in Europe. Whilst footballers are often accused of being motivated by money, I think playing at the best clubs in the top competitions are their no1 priority.

As for Tevez, he's 32 now and he's been offered an obscene amount of cash, so it's a no brainer he'd take it. But for a player like Sanchez, Hazard, Pogba, who are already on big wages in England, I'm not so sure they would give up the premier league to go and play in some obscure league in China.

You don't get it do you Fosse, has it not dawned on you that I don't actually tag you in any of my random posts? <doh> It's not the fact you respond to the comments, it's the fact I chuck in your name every now and again on various threads... and you're there, waiting to find them, ready to bite. I love that about you Fosse fella, nuff respect <laugh>

I think the Chinese league has a cap of 3 foreign players per match day squad unless they have changed it recently so they will only take a certain number of top players from abroad. They tend to have a lot of South Americans.

For players like Tevez who have already played at the top in there own continent and in Europe I think China could well become the place of choice above the US when nearing the end of there careers. But I'd like to think most professionals at the top level want to challenge themselves and win the big prizes as much as possible before going to a weak league for the money.

That's why you never know exactly what time Fossy is likely to post. His sporadic posting and melt down essay's are typical ticket warden behaviors.
