Well once we've sorted that we're moving onto the Gerrard v lampard debate

Its simple.

Mancs cant accept the truth just like how chelsea fans couldn't accept the truth on Lampard. Its mancs who bring up ronaldo even though he barely played for them.

 

What about Suarez?

 

Suarez is not as good as ronaldo

Mancs are unreasonable and insecure but i can safely say suarez is not the player ronaldo is but ronaldo 4th? Max on tbe list for me.

fat frank and starfish stevey both overrated for me. Both were never world class (in the best 17 of the world)

I can list a sadly long list of good CMs made into no 10s in the prem.

fabregas is another who's career went in the toilet after ebing pushed further and further up. Any bit of talent and players are pushed too far froward then england wonders why they have no cms.

Pogba is the latest. mourinho has him too far forward. he neve rplayed there in juve.

Delli alle is another... too far up.

nobody in england seems to know how to make a bloody midfielder any more. Schole will be the last passing midfielder for a while. And he couldn't ****ing tackle.

gerrard was pushed up to there but we did have mascherano and alosno (who for me was the best midfielder we had since molby) seeing eric dier pretend to be a CM while alli is pushed about out wide and at no 10 is sad. play the lad in CM.

 

Pirlo is the greatest ever

 

A great playmaker and prob best in 20 years but better than players like platini etc etc? I dunno

 

Dunno about that, Pirlo has won many trophies and he was one of the key reasons that Italy won world cup 2006

 

Yes as i said probably best of 20 years at least but best ever i dont know. He could find space between the lines either deep or more forward

 

As much as I loved having Suarez with us, I don't rate him in the same category as Messi and Ronaldo. He is second or third tier. And I don't rate him as a person either. The way he engineered his move was despicable and left a sour taste.

I can understand this. There is a limit to my wish to win trophies. I may be in a minority. That period was one of our most recent successful ones but it was also one of the lowest in terms of our reputation.
