This is what I mean. It must be so disgusting that everyone hides it....like putting a pill in a treat for a dog. Sweet cabbage....disgusting.
I agree with Saintsfan4life in retrospect. All ended poorly, but he got us the stadium that others had only promised and he extended the training ground (within the money at his disposal). Remember he wasn't a billionaire...he only had the relatively small Saints income available. One of those people that history deals with kindly....once the emotions of the time have subsided.
I started supporting Saints right at the end of his reign when there were protests at the games. Luckily for me I know nothing about him.
I don't understand why they don't make animal pills taste like treats. Do they like to see us trying to outwit our pets to get the damn things down them?
Why I posted it. He was a twat who run our club like ****. Who was the only one to make a £2m profit when we were in admin (Crouch took a big loss helping us survive). He was just lucky ML saw us.
Excellent! a positive cabbage and recipes thread! here's Serbia's national dish "Sarma" minced meat and rice wrapped in sour cabbage leaves: SARMA Ingredients: 250 g (0.5 lb) ground beef 250 g (0.5 lb) ground pork 100 g (3.5 oz) smoked bacon, chopped 1 onion, chopped 50 g (1.7 oz) rice salt, pepper 2 tsp paprika vegeta (stock cube) 3-4 garlic cloves, minced 2 eggs 1 large head soured cabbage 500 g (1 lb) Sauerkraut (chopped soured cabbage) 250 g (0.5 lb) smoked pork ribs smoked meat: smoked ham, smoked sausages, smoked bacon… 1 cup tomato juice Preparation: Sauté onion in oil. The Germans know what to do with cabbage - Sauerkraut. It has been used in Europe for centuries to treat stomach ulcers, and its effectiveness for soothing the digestive tract has been well established by numerous studies.
This is the positivity thread?...good. The club is on course for it's 4th top flight top ten finish in a row, something that hasn't happened since the great Lawrie Mac managed us. The club is in a major cup semi final for the first time over a decade. There are more full international players in the squad than at any time in our history. The club is debt free. The Academy is world renowned for producing top players. Our scouting system and network is the envy of the Premier League. We are still three leagues above the Skates! The club is not perfect, but I haven't been as proud as a fan since we we finished second in 1984, some fans need a reality check sometimes.
Should anyone ever get stuck in Eastern Europe in December and be expected to produce a typical English Christmas dinner for 10 without any Tesco's mince pies or Robertsons mincemeat or Colmans bread sauce or any cranberry sauce or Paxo stuffing or Christmas pudding - I will be making all from tomorrow from original ingredients! (if you'd like the recipes let me know) I don't have the knitting patterns for Christmas jumpers yet but that will probably be next!
What more could you need? I just got a super bag of sprouts from Sainsburys for 40p. Just have to produce meals for the next few days that will go with them. Yum. And, unlike the YMCA, I will need gravy.
