For those of us who like to vent praise during a game, without having our support posthumously gone over with a fine tooth comb. No negativity allowed. You can moan about how pointless this thread is without any matches to you heart's content, however. (and I have no idea what this last sentence means) " Claude doesn't do Christmas wobbles (am I right?) "
I thought it was a thread for the game tomorrow, judging by the ticket site, it isn't getting much support, real Saints fans will be there to back our youngsters.
I wouldn't say it's underrated. I like it don't get me wrong but doesn't really taste of much... well in my opinion anyway. Now, sweet potatoes, that's an underrated vegetable
How can you say cabbage doesn't taste of much?!? You sure you've eaten cabbage? Now I can understand people saying it tastes bitter, but not that it tastes of nothing * * unless you boil it for three days.
It's not even red. There's the crime. Fran, I'll cook my red cabbage for you one day... mmmm Needs half a bottle of red wine and half a bottle of port!
I have had cabbage overdone that just tastes of water yeah But no, I honestly generally find it pretty tasteless... maybe smoking has just ****ed my taste buds up... I do enjoy it though!
I don't know what red cabbage tastes like when it's nude because cooks tend to sweeten it with stuff. Yuk. Green and white cabbage is nice though. They have discovered that sprouts taste bitter to some people, but not to others....perhaps that is also true for cabbage. The ones who like it have super duper flavour detectors.
Good option. I always add cinnamon and pimento to mine and cook it with two halves of an orange in the pan.
For me Sprouts are the most underrated veg. Ask ANY kid under 16 and I bet 99% hate sprouts. Ask them again in their 20s and guess what, they all love it! My Brussels are cooked in a baking tray, halved with a light coating of olive oil. I dice up bacon and add pine nuts and a touch of garlic. Shake it all together, cover with foil, cook for 20 mins. add salt and pepper shake again and cook for the remaining 15. LOVELY
The funny thing is, you could argue he was ... without his negligence, we'd have never gone into administration, and the last 7 years would never have happened, so thanks Rupes.
