acording to the papers today he says we need 10 wins to have any chance of staying up. Well that's no going to happen Maybe 7 wins and 4 draws will see us scrape through I can't see us getting many more ????????
I can't see us getting many if any points from the top 6 and two games against man Utd. But I feel we can get enough points of the bottom 10 teams to secure our place in the top flight.
We are incredibly inconsistent with where we pick up points. We perform where we're not expected to and we don't when we are. **** knows which games points will come from. January is going to be huge for us. I actually think it:s more important to not lose people than it is to gain bodies. Moyes/his team is picking up enough points to ensure we stay up. Leave the squad alone and let him do his thing. A window without 8 stupid signings wouldn't hurt our finances.
I think he means ten wins over the season. Ten wins from now gives us 44 points which id a lot more than we need, so six wins and four draws gives 36 points which is the minimum we need.
That makes more sense Sunderland will need at least 10 wins this season to have a chance of remaining a Premier League side. That’s the target David Moyes has set his Sunderland side. The Black Cats moved to within a point of safety with victory over Watford thanks to Patrick van Aanholt’s third goal of the season. Yeh that's been it we take points of teams high up in the league and drop points to those around us. At this stage we are in we can't afford to give teams around us points
And what about injuries mate, they're dropping like flies at the minute, we need back up which we simply do not have right now.
Well we've no money to sign as the MD/Moyes have said so we might have to look at frees/our youth system.
I agree with your sentiments mate, i just feel that we're very, very vulnerable at the minute and need reinforcements. Personally i'd get rid of Manquillo and Januzai, neither have really offered much and could free up wages for others to come in.
Not really mate. The only solution to a horrible problem. We're short on bodies but can't spend... All that's left is frees or what we already have but aren't using. I'd rather we spent but failing that I just want Moyes to have full use of his squad as he's started to look like he can get results out of them.
I am ever the optimist, could it be that rather than say we have money to spend, then get ripped off as we have done year after year, could this be a smoke screen so that selling clubs don't think we have a lot of cash so don't ask silly prices for players they want to off load? I know I am talking crap but its Xmas and we can all still believe in Father Christmas.
Its the hope that keeps fans going to games imo 6 pts over the Christmas period Santa -lol Some cynics go for their own emotional reasons but still have sound views It's a crazy mixed up world -
