The terms of repayment have been set: interest-free loan and no agreed repayment date

Meaning all he has to do to get repaid is propose a repayment date and get the board to rubber stamp

Totally agree. It was no worse than Stevie has done in this fixture several times, and was normally sent off for. My incredulity is with those who'd defend it as a yellow because 'He didn't mean to harm him'. That's not the ****ing point with an uncontrolled challenge, is it?

BTW when Moshiri bought the club he massively underpaid on the basis that he would also clear the debt, so now he's changed the debt from owed to the bank to owed to him why are you acting like this is new investment?

It'll never be called in, same as the £49m FSG have lent you lot for the Big Stand.

Hence the reason it's interest free and no repayment date you bitter berk.

He didn't under pay at all, he paid what it was worth.

    The debt has been cleared for 3 reasons;

    1. The long term loan was securitised on Goodison, and we're going to sell the land off, so it had to go

    2. The balance sheet looked poor, so he's bolstered it.

    2. He's freed up £6m a year in interest payments that can go towards funding the new ground, before any increased turnover is accounted for.

Not seen it yet, but was it as bad as Rojo's 2 tackles in recent weeks, or did it look bad because he actually caught him?

Of course he massively underpaid if you don't consider the debt to be factored into the price

If you consider it factored in, then him paying it off is not "investment", and certainly not investment in the squad

No intention of playing the ball which had been passed 3 seconds ago, 2 feet off the ground lunge, studs directly onto the ankle

If Henderson's foot was fully planted his career is over

The price he paid for equity will have had the debt factored into it ffs <doh>

That doesn't mean he had to clear the debt in it's entirety - with cash.

Same as FSG haven't cleared your £95m debt

He's done him on purpose imo. Not buying the 'didn't mean it' stuff myself

Poor challenge, and lucky not to get sent off.

Incidentally, Lovren and Coleman went head to head after that challenge, and yet only Coleman got booked - as Lovren was already on a yellow...

The AGM is on the 4th Jan, I'd be surprised if it wasn't announced then.

The architect was at last nights game btw.

Yeah bizarre, shouldn't have been a booking for either of them but if you book one you have to book the other.

Mike Dean bottled that decision, the sending off for Barkley there and then a second yellow afterwards when Barkley kicked the ball away.

Carra and Neville said he reffed it great after the game <doh> what the **** they were watching I don't know

It was a fantastic three points for all the reasons you say. We needed to do that this season, more so than the win against 'Boro. For all your dominance in that first half hour (not the full half Tobes, seriously) we created the two best chances (Windy and Origi), compared to your free header for Thuggy Moron. And had Firmino not tried to walk the ball in (and a good save from Robles) we wouldn't have needed the 'luck' at the end.

But before the game I said we could do with a solid defence not giving you a sniff in 90 mins (or 95 as it were), and sneaking a goal late on. I thought our two CB's were rocks. You'd have 'deserved' a draw had you done anything when you were well on top. You didn't. I'd have well taken last night's performance over dominating the games over Bournemouth and West Ham and dropping five points. Well happy.

You have problems. Sad, because I like Koeman, as you know.

I think they meant he let the game flow, which in fairness he did. He resisted the urge to flash the cards around for most of it.

The lino on dug out side bottled a number of calls, including an obvious hand ball on the edge of your box in the first half.

I can't argue too much with that mate.

I thought Klavan was your best player on the night, he barely gave Lukaku a sniff
