I'm hoping they experience a collapse in form and confidence over Christmas. Don't really want to play them when they are flying high.
From the grandoldteam; Sure. This side could trouble the top 6 if we could stumble on a system that works for us. ========== No it couldn't. Arsenal Spurs Chelsea Man U Man City Liverpool And Southampton are wayyyy better teams than us, and in terms of our squads, its not even close.
Oh the irony. Koeman suspends and fines Mane for his timing last year (turning up late to a team meeting), and this year his late show sinks Koeman.... Love it
I have to say that Liverpool buying half our squad has enabled us to finish above them for the last two seasons and brought in buckets of cash. Koeman walking out without seeing out his contract has only compromised us.
I can only mention my happiness for Everton and Koeman after their derby result. Despite losing at home thay are only one point and two places below Saints in the PL table. They are improving.
Oh that is wonderful. Thank you Sadio. Is this what some were referring to him dancing in front of Koeman?
Granted it is a cool photo, but Dejan is trolling like a boss in his conversation with Jose. Like Luke Osman says, let's just assume he means the EFL or the local for a swift half. The thought of Jose going to Live.... no, I can't even bring myself to say it.
We have never recovered from the loss of Clyne. Lallana is finally coming good for Liverpool after a slightly hesitant start. Mane is looking world class. Liverpool have opened a gap in class, using our players to do it. Everton, on the other hand, aren't much. Koeman looks exposed, and Puel is - in my opinion - light years ahead of him as a coach , though many of our fans don't see it yet.
Mane was pretty ineffective up until that crucial moment if truth be told. But in football, it often comes down to that one moment to paper over those cracks.
I like your optimistic ( from a non Liverpool perspective) interpretation. Most of the cracks in that side seem to be at the back. Though with Coutinho injured and Mane off to Acon, perhaps a few more will appear up front.

Yep - I'd put a decent RB ahead of a striker in the Jan window. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this. Bringing through the youth, brilliant at rotation, 7th at Xmas & Cup semi, but still so many fans are unhappy with him. What more do people want?!
The way transfer payments are structured often mean that the top end of an agreed fee is only reached if the buying club qualifies for Europe, wins the league etc. Does anyone know if we would be in for a hefty windfall if 'pool did manage to achieve something this season with half a team of Saints players?
Can see your point with regards to a RB but I'm hoping we can make do with Cedric and Martina until the summer. Also, can't forget poor old Pied who over summer should be back in training. Having seen the impact of Davis, I'd say a natural attacking midfielder that can link up play and get decent balls into that 16 yard box is top of the list now as it showed how much of a good effect it has. Rodriguez's two goals could cause a bit of a conundrum with regards to bringing in an additional striker. If he can get say, another 3 over the next handful of games could we get by? With regards to Puel, I've openly been critical of his style of play on here, BUT I've also said I'll always support him. We've been spoiled over the last few years with our attacking play, that having a defensive minded coach is a shock to the system to us all. We as a club seem to make a habit of defying logic and sitting in 7th with a goal difference of 1 is one of those moments.
