I agree with much of the sentiment here. The Trust is doing some good stuff but right now it seems a little distracted by a boycott and not engaged enough with actually encouraging people to support the team - the reason why we are all here, after all. I've no idea whether Obi's rainbow coalition would make a positive difference or even if the proposed meeting would be well attended. But it can't hurt to try.

If anyone says anything constructive all you do is go 'I said this ages a go but no one listened' and 'if only the trust listened'. Move on ffs, stop bleating on about how you weren't listened to ages a go.

Never used to when I went up there fairly regularly. Once saw some Villa ones but that was years ago when Villa had set up a Centre Of Excellence there.

Only two and a silent liker spouting the usual tired, inaccurate lines. I'll take that as progress.

Commenting isn't mudslinging. That's an Allamesque position to hold, and similar to your usual lines.

My view is, and consistently has been in line with the one that Obi's pushing at the moment, and PLT seems to be trying to understand.

It needs more people contributing, and a big part of the focus should be on uniting fans and seeing what we can do ourselves as fans. It's no good trying to hold that back with petty squabbles and your own mudslinging. It's not so much me not being listened to, and I could certainly make a list of 'I told you so's', but that wouldn't help things progress any more than replies like the two quoted do.

It needs ideas put forward and considered. There are some experienced people on here and at the ground, but they're getting sidelined, and I believe that's a mistake.

Show the allams the fans are enjoying there protests
Sling squash balls on at 19minutes 4 seconds in at every game home and away and cheer it, get us the fans noticed not the allams, get people asking why are the city fans throwing balls on every game
Banners proclaiming we'l still be hull city WHEN and long after the allams have gone

Most agree that Swansea is the wrong game as it would be a low attendance anyway..
But with it being Christmas/New Year the Man City & Everton games are a no as the "plastics" will go to watch the big named players.
And if you didn't watch us against Torquay and Chester your opinion is not that important anyway.
Amazing really cause I have been to those games and hated every minute of it because it was ****ing **** and was desperate for City to play in a higher league.
Bring back the good old days

Can you really enjoy the football though until the Allams have gone? You can paper over as many cracks as you like but when the fundamental reason why so many aren't going or not enjoying it remains, in my opinion, makes it impossible to fully enjoy.

If you weren't going to the game anyway, it's hardly a boycott is it? And I will be there, supporting the team like I always do, I love the FA Cup there are better ways of getting at the owners, a boycott isn't it, because like you a lot of fans wouldn't be going anyway.

Direct action is what's needed, inside the stadium or at the owners houses or business

This is what I believe we should do but unless it's backed by large numbers I will just end up on my own in Clough Road station.

It's what I've said all along. To get the players taken off on boxing day in front of the watching world will have more impact and gain media interest. Chuck a load of oranges on and if the stewards try and stop you taking them in say it's a Christmas stocking present you're eating or having a tribute to a former keeper now looking down on us.

I see nothing more enjoyable than taking back our club from the Allams. Watching John Oxley unveil a flag pointing out what is wrong with our club was enjoyable, as was the reaction of the supporters. Seeing a stadium full of Hull City flags knowing the Allams advertise us as The Tigers (sometimes as the grammatically incorrect Tigers) would be enjoyable. Cheering on our players and singing Hull City songs knowing that they are sat at home watching on a special feed because they haven't got the guts to come to the KC to see the results of their mismanagement would be enjoyable.

Knowing we are making them millionaires on the interest we pay on their gift is enjoyable because I'm twisted that way.

Getting up off our knees and fighting back should be as enjoyable as we can make it. I'm fed up of supporters saying they no longer enjoy coming to watch City because of the Allams. We don't need their permission to have a good time. We just need to get on and reclaim the KC for Hull City and the players. I don't see any reason why that shouldn't be fun. If it makes them sell great, if it doesn't we'll have made the KC ours. If we want to reclaim our soul they can't stop us. We are the only ones that can do that.

I had a word with John at West Ham, he like us is mystified by his ban, he got put on someone's shoulders at half time and hundreds of us sang his name, he should be the poster boy for any future demo's, he stood alone on that pitch made his protest and got banned, maybe some of us need to be more proactive.

no , that's the point I've been making, and why it's a **** game to boycott .... All it needs is people to miss first five minutes of Everton game , all protest outside as game kicks off with only 10,000 inside stadium , then pretty sure , Sky , 5live , talk sport etc would get talking about it, which I thought was the whole point , I'm starting to get confused what the point is , if it's to let Ehab know we think he's a **** , I think he's got it already .

I'm in favour of a new protest group being set up and have been for a while. It could be supported by the Trust but crucially would be able to do what it wants.

As I said before, I'm happy to attend such a meeting and I'm sure the Trust would be keen to help with this sort of thing.

One thing that's really obvious to me at the moment is that more manpower is needed, not just on the front lines but organising be coordinating these activities. No one does this stuff professionally, but the small band of volunteers at the Trust are busy enough as it is. Personally I find it mentally exhausting planning what we should be doing, dealing with people's queries on social media and then coming on here to find people just want to piss and moan that we're not doing their preferred activity, ignorant of the fact it was someone else's preferred activity, and that they didn't actually pipe up when it was proposed, only when we agreed to do it. And there are members of the Trust board who are much busier with other stuff than I am.

The details for the 'prestigious' Allam sponsored squash tournament.

    Airco Arena 19th - 26th March 2017.

Even a peaceful protest there would really piss him off

Taking our club back from the Allams would be enjoyable, but realistically with up to 10,000 fans not going any more I don't think it's possible to. And I'm not sure you can enjoy yourself there knowing that many people can't afford to go or don't go on principle. It sounds great but in my opinion is unrealistic. The target has to be getting the Allams out and then it will make everything else much easier.
