    Exactly. I really feel for all those who have had their homes torched or businesses literally gone up in flames. Seeing pictures of families evacuating with young children crying their eyes out just makes me embarrassed to be English.

    It is a truly distressing situation - it's almost impossible to take all on board really. As it continues to unravel, it's becoming more and more evident how vulnerable this country is, to a revolt that gains such vigours momentum. Military involvement may be necessary, considering the rate of escalation.

    A lot of them probably aren't English. Maybe an illegal immigrant or two among them. People that shouldn't be here in the first place. Can you imagine any responsible person wanting to have looting and burning of properties in the area that they live in?

    seeing as i live 30 minutes away from the nearest town (which is shrewsbury so nothing would happen anyway) i'm not likely to be in any of this but i feel for anyone that his **** going one outside there house. What utter morons

    But can you imagine any responsible person raping someone? Murdering someone? Dealing drugs? Fighting over football? Beating people up for fun?

    Crime in general isn't committed by responsible people, yet still by adult English citizens. These riots are spreading all over the country. The biggest worry for me is instead of spreading to the nearest place, people in Birmingham and Liverpool(and apparently Manchester) are using this as an excuse to riot themselves. Kent should have been affected by riots before wider areas. As much as some aren't English i'd imagine the vast majority are and are just criminals and thugs.

    Hmmm, not so sure about that to be honest. It seems to be youths of all ethnicities. Although there is a potential it could happen.

    I've got a mate who's dad's in the TSG (riot police) and he's been working for pretty much 3 days non stop, Ealing is like a warzone apparently
