Apparently someone was shot in the face yesterday and then his friends went out and shot the guy in return and something kicked off after that. Only heard about it a couple of hours ago. Completely unrelated to the London riots but maybe a few opportunistic people might get a few ideas after watching whats been going on in the capital.

I mean just how thick are the ****s causing all this? They whine about a lack of jobs in their communities, government austerity measures, nowhere for the kids to play, colleges reducing course numbers and then they go and cause all this which will result in: Even less jobs in their communities as they've burned down all the buildings of people who employ personnel. The furniture shop owner just on Sky News just saying that that's 15 employees who won't have a job to return to now. Increased insurance policies for commerical properties which many companies won't be able to afford and therefore close down. Expect the domestic insurance companies to also find away of bumping up car and house insurance in these areas too. The government looking to claw back all the money this is stinging them somehow...it won't be the rich who will be forking out for it, you can guarantee that. Less money for local councils to provide play areas, college courses for education, etc as they will have to foot the bill for the damage. Stupid, ****ing ****s
haha true, its more of a student dive (my mate lived there last year so i say this with some affection having wandered it drunkenly for hours!). Hard to avoid the stereotyping here as 80%+ of the faces i've seen are black hooded youths simply stealing from shops. This is so far from being political, and yet some are trying to claim it is. Really struggling to stomach this. Also why have the army not been mobilised? Surely someone in the government has made basic plans given the recession and the increased likelihood of things like this?
