Maya, Virgil, Bertrand, Clasie, Davis, JRod were all excellent. Hojbjerg was woeful first half, but played well after the break - I wish he would get his head up more when he gets the ball, rather than looking for a backward/sideways ball most of the time.
For those worried about the dog on the right, she is fine now. Cost me a walk, a bit more chicken than normal and a quick play of 'hide the ball from your brother'. She is now on my lap once more, safe that there is no MOTD for me to watch and shout again
Garth Crooks really is a plank. He puts Steven Davis in his team of the week which is fully justified but no Rodriguez and apparently Davis created both of his goals out of nothing.
I just watched the second half in full (thanks TSS ) and apart from Redmond working really hard to set up Jay's second, it was lovely to see the congratulations and genuine pleasure on so many faces when Jay had his walk off. He even got some handshakes from the Bournemouth dugout, which was great to see. That first goal was by no means a tap-in, either. He had to move quite a way to get on the end of Davis's little chip, a genuine poacher's goal. In fact both his goals had more than a touch of Charlie Austin about them, which bodes well for the next few weeks.
Kind of, but the 'scummers' stuff is cringeworthy. I still like them as a club, but really, that stuff does some of their fans no credit (in fairness one of the posters there pointed this out too).
Artur Boruc also took time out to congratulate him. I can't remember but I'm guessing he would have played in the game that Jay was injured in.
