More worried about Spurs in all honesty. They (Man U) had a whole clutch of decisions go their way in their last two games, and while we'd expect that to continue at OT, I'd be more worried about our inconsistent ability to beat the likes of Bournemouth, Everton and Stoke than anything they might do. I do think we'd beat City (especially the first half City of today), but knowing us we'd then struggle against Sunderland away. We need 12 points from those four games just to keep pace with Chelsea - that's not going to happen. I'd be ecstatic with 10, happy with 9 and satisfied with eight. Seven points or less and it won't just be Unitard we're worried about for a top four place.

You really are almost as bad as Astro with the crap you spout at times <laugh> Is this some sort of brave face you put on things to convince yourself? Listen to your fellow fans mate, admitting you're looking over your shoulder at us, doesn't make you any less of a fan ffs <doh>

With any other manager I would agree, but it's not just 2 games. It's the last 12 years with a repeating pattern.

First one was offside though, but it'd be a miracle to have spotted that in real time. Dunno what Souness was going on about for the second. Sterling just did him at his near post.

He actually has a point with the second goal, Silva was 3 or 4 yards off side and made an attempt to touch the ball. Did it affect Cech, who knows but he would definitely have seen Silva moving toward it.

EDIT.....may have been Sane not Silva.

It was Silva..........yeah,I thought that at the time.

The real genius of that goal was the vision and diagonal from KdB...........superb

First one is so close that advantage goes to the forwards, always has been the case and always should be. Defenders should not be relying on a linesman to spot a fingernail being offside in a 0.1 second time frame after ball is kicked.

Wenger should be more concerned that was easily beaten by 1 ball over the top for the first, and then Monreal managing to let Sterling pick the ball up 40 yards from goal out wide and getting 8 yards away from goal without getting within 2 yards of him!

I did wonder if Silva would be classed as offside but when you look at the reply, Silva was in middle of the goal, ball went in near post, Cech had perfect view of it as well so no chance him being interfering.

And bite... Just get in this case above my mantelpiece. Look, if you must camp out on others' boards you shouldn't be surprised to hear opinions that rattle you. I can imagine how excited you all are to have won a few on the bounce (I bet even Fistian's turned up again now, perchance?), and it's coincided with all above you bar Chelsea dropping points. But I stick with what I'm saying (especially as they ground out a much needed 1 goal victory like we couldn't do against West Ham) - Spurs are our biggest threat at this stage for top four. And there is always one breakout team from outside the 'considered' top six who'll come into the reckoning (leicester ****ing won it last season) and that team is Soton.

No offence, but that's the way I see it. If you think you played especially well in your last three games, then good for you. I have to say that I thought we played better against Bournemouth than you did in all those games, bar the ****ing collapse, obviously. I'm more worried about that too, as well as Spurs and Soton, than any flash-in-the-pan that BBC Salford is hyperventilating over this month.

You're the only one who sounds rattled mate. And dare I say a tad insecure.

Ironically you mention Christian, but you and him have a lot in common tbh.

I don't desert the boards for weeks on end when we're not winning, and I never had. You know that, as neither do you. He does.

He's obviously convinced himself man yoo won't get caught by Southampton, West Brom or Everton.<laugh>

Maybe he should be looking over his shoulder rather than those currently above his club, or doesn't the same logic apply in the mind of a Utd fan.:emoticon-0105-wink:

Why? Because when you try play decent football you aren't good enough to win games and the only way you win is when you play dull boring football and the refs give you a helping hand? <whistle>
