"We're going to fight this campaign on issues and not personality." "Well why's that?" "Because our candidate doesn't have a personality."
I have to say Andy Murray has improved, I thought it was funny that he said his wife had voted for Nick Skelton, there is a sense of humour in there somewhere.
He's always had a keen sense of humour, he's also publicly stated that he is deliberately straight in interviews because he knows the media can twist anything you say, so he keeps his answers to the point and himself to himself. I'm a huge tennis (and Murray) fan and if you read up on him, everybody that knows him well paints a very different picture to the dour Scot you tend to see on screen - he's quite the joker, by all accounts. And a worthy winner. Nobody else had a chance after the year he's had.
Murray was by far the best candidate this year and a well deserved winner. His victory last year was a joke though.
His achievements in 2016- becoming a Dad, Rome, Masters Queen’s, Wimbledon, GB Flag Bearer, Olympic Gold, China, Shanghai, World No#1 & SPOTY Wasn't even a contest was it. Fair play that's a great year.
Surprised he won last year to be honest. No contest this year though. Almost felt a bit sorry for the other contenders, they didn't have a cat in Hell's chance. Although it's just a bit of showbiz glitz anyway, really.
whats with the Horse riding bloke tho ? he just sits on a saddle , his age is proof enough that any old nugget can do it
