Arguing ? The thread is boycott the Swansea game. You posted you are in but you don't usually go to FA Cup games anyhow. Explain how you can support a boycott of a ga Campaigned once ? You really went missing for a long time didn't you ? I along with a few other diehards were campaigning for over 30 years when most of our 'support' had thrown the towel in, including yourself. As for having other priorities, as you claim as an excuse for turning your back on the club when they needed support the most, for some of us our number one priority was seeing Hull City AFC survive, and we succeeded. If we had of taken your course of action and turned our backs on the club we would have followed Scarboro, Lincoln and Boston out of the FL league. Don't take the moral high ground with me about campaigning for our club and its supporters because you are a light weight in comparison.
It's moral high ground and that's not what I was doing, I was suggesting you shut the **** up and let those who wish to boycott get on with it.
I mean that someone who had no intention of going to the Swansea game under what ever circumstances cannot then claim they have boycotted it as a protest of some sort. You take your head from up your own arse you pompous twat. Stick to pointing out typos.
Why don't the trust themselves post on the forums and discuss the issues, instead of leaving it to others? It seems to lead to bad feeling and confusion rather than unity.
the problem is there is just not enough unity and passion for the club in most fans, so a boycott of a proper game wouldn't happen swansea will bring about 20 people there should be no higher attendance than 1000 for the boycott to be a success
I will boycott the Swansea game to show unity but for me we should try and do a mass protest in the stadium when the Sky cameras are in town over the Christmas period (Everton game)
The boycott is a great idea. Knowing our luck though, the headlines will probably spark a huge investigation by the FA into plummeting attendances at FA Cup matches and divert away from the point. I do love it when the older fans chuck the "if it weren't for us we'd be in non-league" line. I'm 28, but I was there too when the buckets were going round. Funnily enough, I don't use it as a stick to beat other fans with.
