I'd rather see pretty much anyone. I honestly believe there are 80 odd Football League chairmen who could do a better job. Ideal scenario: we get an owner like those at Hull and Stoke who are local men with good intentions and who treat the fans with respect as well as sensibly investing in the team. But yeah, you definitely have to have one particular person in mind for your opinion to qualify on Bates. You can't just hate what he's doing to our club without being involved in highly sensitive takeover movements.
All im saying is if he were to leave or die, i would prefer to see a man who has been in football before and been succesful than a man who has been successful in other businesses. Football does not work like other businesses
