BBC staff member reports hundreds of youths ransacking a Panasonic store in West Ealing - no sign of police.
I ain't been downstairs since about 10. I've gotta go and get a drink in a bit so I might wake everybody up again!
Gonna have to go to bed in a bit though. Maybe half an hour more. I'm gonna fall asleep on my desk if I don't have some kip!
I got a box of coke next to my bed so I'm alright. And before anyone asks I had it BEFORE my local ASDA was smashed into
Right, that's it lads. I'm off to go and get some sleep. Can't function much longer. To anybody who is in and around these riots, stay safe!
Will do! For now I'm off to bed as news is getting slow and it seems they've moved on from my area. To be honest I think most of them are heading home now. Using the words of King Kenny: "No news is good news"

Stopped reporting because I took a trip out of the city. I got a message on BlackBerry Messenger, three people seriously hurt near my area, one by one each of them were announced, not alive. As the names came out I recognised one in particular. After confirmation my older brother raced to Birmingham, his friend was on life support, he wasn't going to make it. Turns out he knew all three of the people who were killed, the other two were brothers. They had been hit by a car because of the rioting. They were protecting their community, houses, shop and their mosque. I seriously can't believe what has happened and it was only a few days ago I had seen one of them myself.. Here's BBC news article on it
