Am in cafe by WHL...amazing to see the new ground going up so quickly. Really looking forward to my last spurs match of the year with my girls. Coys
If we go for a back 4 I'd like to see Dier and Winks tried as the CM partnership. We need to move the ball quicker in possession and those two are better for that than Wanyama. I'd almost be tempted to try Sissoko for a start out wide too as Alli has really been off the boil recently. If we go 3 at the back then I'd still like to start Winks with Wanyama. I quite like the development of a back 3 formation for us as we definitely have the players to play it very well and it gives us an option to stretch the game against teams who are more likely to sit deep. The bigger concern no matter the system is the speed of play and transition for us which has been far too slow this season so far.
Spurs XI vs. Burnley: Lloris. Walker, Dier, Vertonghen, Rose. Wanyama, Winks, Dembele. Eriksen, Alli. Kane.
Lloris (C), Walker, Dier, Vertonghen, Rose, Wanyama, Winks, Dembele, Eriksen, Dele, Kane Subs: Vorm, Davies, Trippier, Wimmer, Sissoko, Nkoudou, Son.
I'm guessing Winks will probably play down the right with Eriksen on the left. Not a great line up though, to be honest
Broken record time..... but isn't the likes of Burnley at home the day to give run outs to GKN and rotate full backs etc? Certainly not a day for 2 DM's........
Silly giveaway by Walker and we're nearly behind, after having no issues at all til that point. Sloppy.
