I've found over my years of watching Rangers that blind optimism helps a lot. From watching online, just seems like there is a big gap between our defence and strikers.
I am really not a fan of playing Washington up front on his own, it just doesn't work. Just like it didn't work we when we played Austin in the same role.

Imo it doesnt matter if Washington plats up top on his own or with a striking partner..hes just hasnt enough ability to score enough goals..now theres a cue to prove me wrong..blind optimism kicking in !

He runs the channels and hassles well which someone like Polter or Sylla need a partner to do. There's then no one to cross to. It needs the wingers to support. Neither so far is doing much at all
