On that score you could say the Lallana sell on and the loaning of Boruc helped them achieve their dream. We made them, now we must destroy them.
Amazing no one really banged on about Stoke throwing away a two goal lead to a massively under performing side, playing against 10 is harder to break down, particularly given our recent rut in front of goal.
If we win 4-1 I'll run around the streets in my under crackers. Never in a month of December Sundays. Not saying we can't win, but we can't score four goals......
I love the way you think I jumped on a negative post. It was you, not I, that referenced 11 men. I believe this falls under prejudice or pre-conceived views. It is really sad that whenever anyone posts something that is contrary to someone else's post that the fall back position is negative v positive. It really has set the forum back and one reason why I'm seen less around, which I'm sure pleases a lot. Just take the discussion point rather than the personal jab. I also believe that my point that people seem to expect a game v 10 men to result in a win is a fair one.
I think we'll score today, but neither a hat full or brace. Lets hope the defense are feeling festive.....like scrooge.
Well, if it comes in I will easy slightly easy to spot (I'm the one with a tiny hard - on streaking past you)
Yeh and they had Arnautovic sent off, it's not as if they lost a key defender and had a big reshuffle to do at the back.
Dear Santa I know you are very busy this time of year and I have left it a bit late but you dress in red and white and are called a saint so wondered if you could fit this request in. As you only go to people who have been good thought you might have some spare time while you are in the area as you won't need to worry about the po postcode area. Any way, I will swap the bike I wanted for a saints win today and some confidence goals for our strikers. I will swap the other thing on my list, world peace, for a tonking of Tottenham on 28th and a new striker in January. Thanks Santa #stillbelieve
I'm going to go for a 2-1 win to Saints because, why not. The thought that we could be up to 7th by the end of the day is giving me conflicting feelings. I should be super excited and optimistic that we could be 7th, despite having what could be perceived as a lacklustre few weeks. But I honestly feel just a bit flat about it all. Maybe it's the joint lowest goal scoring tally that's causing it. I'll also be scratching my head at how much higher we could have been if we'd contributed a few more goals. But, that's my last negative post for the day. I have beer in the fridge...beer helps right?
One of these games it will all click up front. If we even put away 40% of the chances we create we would be scoring 2 or 3 every game. I would be more worried if we weren't creating anything. I'm confident about today, 2-1 Saints with goals from Rodriguez and Bertrand
That's just not true. Maybe, in the beginning of the season, it was, we were wasting a lot of chances then. But not recently. Hull, Sparta, Liverpool, Macabbi, Crystal Palace, Middlesbrough Stoke...none of these matches we created a lot of good chances (Arsenal and Everton being the exceptions). Bertrand shooting from 40 yards out doesn't count.
