    First half was pretty quiet

    Second half was much better.

N'Dong and Denayer were great today. Some great performances from a few others also, hard to pick a MOTD

And someone once said you could not play a CD as a DM, <laugh> What about a full back as a striker has that ever been known before SuperPVA. We are on track at last and happy days could be here to stay, get in. :emoticon-0169-dance

A vey typical ground out Moyes 1-0 win, much like his Everton early days..

Qudos to the fella like, I suppose Bill Kenwright feels like Bill Gates to him after the latest Safc revelations this week about finances..

Well done Moyes and well done the lads, 3 precious points..<ok>

    Great win
By far Ndong's best game for us! He and Denayer covered the full backs tirelessly. If we put someone who can really play in with those two I'd be happy. We are beating the right teams, Swansea apart we've got points where we expected to which has often been our downfall.

About as scruffy a win as you can get - but a win nonetheless. Take those every time.

Pretty grim game to watch in terms of entertaining football but we gritted our teeth and won. I don't reckon we win many games 1-0 do we.

Anichebe superb again, wasn't massively impressed with anyone else but they worked hard and a few like Denayer were much better in the second half.

I thought Watford were better than that it was like watching a Pulis side but not as good, cheating sods too.

Not for the purist maybe but this was a game we could not afford to lose, a few more of these scruffy wins will put pressure on the bottom pack. Hopefully we don't have anymore bad luck with injuries, and our football will improve with a settled side.

I quite like a scruffy win actually, in the position we're in I couldn't care less how we get the points as long as we get them.

I'm going to say it, I think we're staying up. We're looking more than decent and improving rapidly, are only a couple of wins away from mid table and the injury list can only get better. Surely.

I think Moyes deserves some praise here like. It looks like he may have found his feet, to be where we are currently after no wins in 1st 10 shows a huge improvement.

I'm a perverse way I enjoyed it. We played better football on Wednesday and got nothing. As moyes says, it's important to be able to win ugly.

Great to be off the bottom for Christmas (if a little unfamiliar!) But onwards and upwards.

Well done today. Glad to hear you're backing Moyes - I think he's a smart lad. Anichibe and your keeper were the difference, I thought. We just seemed to misfire. <ok>
