Phew, yes. Was that our only one on target? That is the sort of fighting performances and grind out result that gets you promoted.
Leeds didn't play well, but if you can win when you don't play well, that's a sign. The Wendies left it until the 94th minute to beat Rotherham. Derby's 263rd straight win has come to an end (thank god). Held 2-2 at Fulham
I watched it without commentary and I felt we played quite well second half, Doukara missed a good chance, Ayling a couple, Brentford are a tricky team, this was a very good win.
Same here , no commentary. Is ayling becoming the new Gary Kelly. Never has a poor game and covers miles
Antonsson doesn't inspire me as being any kind of super sub, Wood has to be number one choice, Doukara num Green's kicking was a bit suspect, he pulled off one spectacular save without knowing the linesman's flag was already on its way up but apart from the kicking our defence was superb. Right near the end Jansson gave me a heart attack when he played the ball out of defence taking on and beating the attacker closing him down (he is class). Both Taylor and Ayling attacked down the side well, Taylor's crossing let him down a bit today. Sacko had another poor game, I still see him as a player with so much pace and no end product, I was screaming at him for taking that shot at the end but it resulted in a corner that we scored from, again though I was screaming "why play it short whip it in" yet it was the short corner that resulted in a goal so what do I know. Wasn't impressed with Antonsson when he came on, he just isn't getting the game time, with Doukara and Roofe already ahead of him you have to wonder if he will even get on the pitch once we have O'Kane and Hernandez back. I know O'Kane is defensive but you would assume with Bridcutt, Hernandez and O'Kane playing it leaves Dallas, Roofe, Sacko and Doukara fighting over two spots, the two left out will surely join Vieira and Phillips on the bench? I'm just over the moon, two good wins with injury problems against Reading and Brentford, I can enjoy Christmas day knowing we are in the top 6 and we have the extra two days for Wood and O'Kane to recover before two very hard away games.
