I'd go back to 4-4-2. Dunno what Phelan will do though. The Jak Elmo Dawson Harry Robertson Snodgrass Jake Hudd Clucas Mbokani Diomande Hope I'm wrong but i think the wheels will really fall off tomorrow. Pick your team. Pick the score.
Like most London Clubs, the main claim to fame seems to be that it's not far from nice things. Last season was the first time West Ham recorded a positive goal difference in a top-flight season since 1985/86. West Ham United are one of only eight clubs in existence never to have fallen below the second tier of English football. West Ham United are the last team to have won the FA Cup from outside the top division. They beat Arsenal in the final in 1980. West Ham United are also the last side to win the FA Cup with an all English side. They beat Fulham 2-0 in the 1975 final. The club was originally formed in 1895 as Thames Ironworks, but after disbanding in June 1900 they were almost immediately reformed as West Ham United in July 1900. Hammersmith had the largest power station in Britain at Sands End. Scottish poet James Thomson is thought to have written the words for " Rule Britannia " in the Dove pub situated on Hammersmith’s historic Thames riverside. The Dove claims to have the smallest bar in Britain. The Cart and Horse in Newham is the birthplace of Iron Maiden. Until the advent of the docks in the 1850's, the predominant industry in the area was farming.

Never been to any match at West Ham. In 1960 when living in London I occasionally did go to a huge stadium very close to Upton Park which had a nominal capacity of 120,000. It was the West Ham greyhound and speedway stadium where lower level football was also played. I went as a student to evening greyhound meetings.First time I saw dogs jumping over hurdles. The stadium closed in the early 70's. Today I hope we will come away with at least 1 point.
I liked the Thames ironworks fact, but Am I missing something? What does Hammersmith have to do with a West Ham? They're not exactly close to one another.
I think he will stay with 352, probably bring Mbokani in for Dio, which is a bit unfair on him but Mbokani has impress when played.
What the ****. Early MDT thread earlier in the week, now he's trying to usurp Dutch. He's gone ****ing crazy and needs to be put down! Anyhoo. If Marshall plays, we'll lose 3 or 4 nil. Obviously won't be his fault. Again. For shipping more goals than a traffic cone would (Cheers Hatster, I stole that). If Jak plays, we'll win 1-2 or 1-3.
Dutch pm'd me earlier in the week with the info. We're a mdt team. That lazy little drunken git quill best be up soon cos I've no idea how to put a vid up on my iPad...
He should only start Mbokani if he's playing 2 up front otherwise it has to be Dio, he's got 4 in 16 this season, Mbo has none in 7. Dio also seems to picked his form up these last couple of games. Mind you form doesn't always seem to feature in MP's thinking... cue another Jak/Marshall debate?
Containing Antonio and Payet concerns me somewhat. Anyway, it's West Ham, it's the London Stadium, therefore I predict a riot.
I don't think Mbokani will start , nice to finally have him back as an option though , lets hope we have no more stupid sendings off this season
Just seen Costa take a fifth yellow card for Christmas off - do we have anyone who might fancy Christmas off as well
