Anyone get owt different or special in for this period of self destruction, or just stick with the same old tried and tested?

Cant believe people have (maybe still do) bought rancid liquid like these.

We'll have champagne at breakfast which is unusual for me as I usually pour whiskey on my Cheerio's.

My mum likes that Advocaat stuff, I've never tried it and I doubt I ever will. Egg yolk and alcohol? **** no.

Probably larger starting today 1500 hrs
    Maybe a few red wines
Maybe a few white wines over a few days

Christmas Day always champagne at 1300 hrs
And a few wines always tired Christmas Day and never get drunk .I really drink more than usually.
However I will have quite a bit to drink most of the holiday days.

I'm getting ****ing smashed for 10 days straight.

I've stocked the drinks fridge with lager, IPA, Guinness, Prosecco for the guests... some water for my wife. Off to Costco next week to get spirits and nom noms.

My mum is a right piss head, she'll drink owt. She turned up one Christmas Eve at mine and asked for a drink at 10am so I said 'Tea or Coffee?' and she looked at me as if I'd just asked her if she wants me to throw her off the balcony.

If anybody gets a chance to have one of these over Xmas, then do so. It's called Hitachino Nest White Ale and it's delicious. They sell it in Wagamama chains I think, but at about £6 a bottle, but some supermarkets have started to stock it in individual bottles or packs of 4.

The wife got me an AdventsKalender for the run up to Christmas with a continental lager each day. Couldn't name any of them but not had a bad one yet.

For Crimble I usually get a bottle of something from the grandbabs.

Old Pulseney 12 year old last year. Very nice.

Got some home brew on the go this year. Anything could happen when that gets mucked into.

I usually make snowball cocktails at New Year, with Advocaat, Vodka, Lemonade and a squeeze of fresh lime..

Just been given this today by one of the Doctors I work with. It costs nearly £40 so a welcome addition to the rest of the stuff I've got.

I normally stay with fizz and red wine and maybe a few beers chucked in fir good measure.

I do like a drop of Port though later on when the cheese comes out, say late evening when all has settled down. Break out the port and cheese and just sit and chill, lush.

I'm getting dead fussy over beer.
If I go out it has to be real ale.
In the house I'll have cider.
Love a dry white wine, Bacardi & coke, vodka & tj, g&t, ouzo.
All time favourite though is Jagermeister.

Just anything with a gravity content normally suffices.

A bit Meths, aftershave and weedkiller if desperate. Not in the same glass mind. I'm not that bad.
