Remember since Christmas, by and large we've been terrible. Our form little better than relegation form. With only a couple of hasbeen additions to the squad that nobody else wanted, it's natural to expect our results this season mightn't improve a whole lot. Add to that the loss of one of our most consistent players in Becchio, and I'd say were probably now worse off than twelve months ago. Really hope I'm wrong

It's not since Christmas, it's since Grayson!

Remember how bad things were in League 1?

I hate to be too picky but that's actually only...
    W5 D3 L4

Also if you drop the first two matches...
    W3 D3 L4

    which looks 'kin awful.

You also have to look at the opposition...

Doncaster, Palace, Derby just escaped relegation
    Preston, Sheff U relegated
    Watford, Ipswich mid-table mediocrity
Good results against Forest and QPR (but QPR were already celebrating)
    Millwall good tough game.

Our record against the top teams was better than against the bottom teams which means Larry can't motivate.

    How bad was Hereford?

How bad was Swindon home and away?

How bad were four defeats in a row without scoring?

Promotion by a point, on the last day of the season, after being 12 points clear at the top?

Millwall were a promoted side and we lost to them away, Bristol City had a poor season, Doncaster nearly went down and we drew away, Coventry had a poor season, Palace nearly went down and beat us away.

7th is pretty bad because we should have at least finished in the top 6 and Noriwch finished 2nd.

My original post refers to our poor form since Christmas. It is now 8 wins, 10 draws and 7 losses. 34 points from 75. Hardly scintillating form whatever way you may want to try gloss over it. One of the worst defences in the division and how does our hierarchy address it? They add O'Dea to the mix. Amazing how blinkered some fans have become. Is it they can't see what's going on or refuse to see it

what manager got us 12 points clear at the top? it wasnt macca was it

and your trying to talk down our wins by saying the teams we beat were crap, your a dickhead. 7th is a good first season back in the championship and a foundation to improve upon. No matter what way you look at it, grayson could not have done better than getting promoted in his first full season in charge

So beckford single handedly got us promotion that season then although that wasnt his highest scoring season or even his second and he didn't do it the seasons before.... interesting

Take the banter on the chin mate<ok>

Grayson was good for Leicester as a player so I have a lot of time for him.

Sort out your defence and you will be top 6 <ok>

yea man i was joking, appreciate the views. I am still one of the few optimistic fans and i do believe if we sort out that LB spot we will be fine, we have enough CBs who have played at this level and higher
