Erm the roundabout at Buckden was shut last night btw, on the A1 (one after the Black Cat). Added 40 ****ing minutes onto me drive home. ****s.
This wouldnt happen in Europe where the roads stay open all night every night without a hint of trouble...
They have bars by the side of the road that stay open later than 10:30 at night and let families in too. You don't see that on the M3.
The foods in the service stations is vastly better not to mention you can get a drink as a passenger. They don't think everyone should be treated like kids. We might catch up one day, though I doubt it. You don't see miles and miles of cones with no sign of anything been done holding everyone up either.
What has a protest, with polic riders in front, on the outskirts of a city to do with repairs on motorways, DMD?
If you saw the amount of time it is taking to do a 50 yard stretch of road near me the word express is the last word you would associate with it. They will need to repaint the diversion signs as they will be that weathered they'll be unreadable.

Second sign is a bit better, but no one will tell like that in polish... If you want full sentence it should be "ABY DOJECHAĆ DO WITCHURCH DROGĄ NUMER A49 SKRĘĆ W NAJBLIŻSZĄ DROGĘ W PRAWO" (TO GO TO WITCHURCH BY ROAD NUMER A49 TURN NEXT RIGHT) but it should rather be just "A49 WITCHURCH, DIVERSION ->" as signs in Poland have to be as short as possible. Also, NEXT ist translated to polish as NASTĘPNY or NAJBLIŻSZY. With NAJBLIŻSZY there is not a problem, as that's mean excactly the same. Problem is, that it would be rather translated as "NASTĘPNY", as we can see on this sign. And NASTĘPNY might mean not just next, but "next after this one", so that would mean "SECOND RIGHT" for many of people... It's hard for me to explain what's wrong with that, as polish language compared to english is much richer ( I readed one time, that average polish speaker is using 7000 words and understand about 30 000 when average english speaker is using 2000 words and understand 8000, so it's hard, as one word in english can be translated in many ways into polish....)
