My cunning plan to triple point boost Kane in FF worked. He would have got a double hat-trick if I hadn't

I suspect because we had a series of games were we just sat back and got slaughtered, the assumption was that we needed two up front when every other team in premier realises they get slaughtered in midfield if 2 up front. The only way for that not to happen is to play just 3 at the back, but vs Spurs away it leaves Rose vs Elmo and Walker vs Robbo. Neither did badly against superior players, but two of the goals were because of that. Also we don't have the two banks of four so have awful gaps in front of our back three. And at that level, Macguire is awful defensively.
And Brucey would have sorted it

Really? I thought Robbo was quite poor tonight, he didn't have the confidence to push on and gave the ball away a fair amount when attempting one-two's with other players.

We wouldn't have been much better off if bruce was here, yes phelans made mistakes setting up with wrong formations but bruce probably would have made similar mistakes. I watched his villa side against Leeds and Norwich and it was like watching us, no pace and no creativity and he's got a better selection on forwards than us. We'll go down like villa did due to black of investment and a failed scouting system

We played really well in patches especially after half time, when we really pressed them, but did we honestly show a REAL threat? They have to ride that out and their quality up top vs our lack of resilience and its fairly comfortable. They bought a youngster on to replace Deli Ali on and that changed the game.

I was referring to the manager whose team is 7th in the PL at the moment. Re-read my post and it says following tonight's victory...Nothing to do with the manager of a losing Championship team.

Our goal difference would NOT be as bad. With that, we may have sneaked the odd draw. Having said that, the crux is that we don't have the players in the squad/ on the bench. that is why Bruce walked, so totally down to Ehab I'm afraid

Bruce left knowing that we would would get battered regularly with the lack of investment MP has no chance.
SB was given way too much time at City considering the garbage served up and how he left us to go cycling in Greece the ****.
He wont last the season out at Villa they are already turning on him.

Steve Bruce ruined our club. We're still burdened with the ultra expensive legacy he wasted all our cash on - i.e. **** injury prone players.

Or maybe Steve Bruce for spunking surplus of £60m on a squad of players that was far from convincing in the championship?

At some point they will, but the weaker teams make a fist of it, we don't ANY time. And we wont until we become more resilient. We have conceded three goals in those last two performances.

    Dullnes.

He took us up twice. Into Europe. And FA cup finals.

Not a bad return for a team with no history of any success.

We've been here so many times before and I'm surprised you are still trolling this **** and I am still biting.

I think you need to get your irony radar tested Castro. Someone did the same earlier, I thought he was a new poster, so 'liked' his comment rather than calling him out.

So we play 3 5 2 because we have full backs who cant defend. If that is what our plan is for the season, the we're ****ed. It does mean away from home especially we're ****ed against teams showing any width. Snodgrass is definitely NOT a wing back (I do think Elmo is), so as our best player, he has to be the second up front. Many have said it doesn't suit him, but I do think he's better there than wasted out wide. for me it's horses and courses, certainly not convinced 352 is the be all.

I was been generous, trying to focus on other areas where the system wasn't working. I don't think left wing back suits him at all. Going back to Saturdays draw vs Palace, Saha has been highlighted as having a 'worldy'. Parlour on Talksport this morning basically said its because he is use to have players doubling up on him, which we didn't. Why not? Because we played 3 5 2.

we lack quality, for that I blame chazz's BF, he waited till the 11th hour to go.
NO way would I have given him millions to spend in the summer either.
It will be interesting to see just what MP does in the Jan transfer window
