How likely are we to get a good striker in January, rather than a squad player on loan?

 

Theo Robinson is only on a rolling contract at Lincoln City. He is looking for a club higher up. Scores goals at least. lol

 

We won't be relegated, we are just the new West Brom. Spectacularly stubborn and boring to watch.

 

And Clattenburg as the Ref....

I think one thing is pretty certain. The goodwill which the board have built up with the vast majority of us will be serious risk of somewhat evaporating come 1 Feb, if they don't address these problems in January. (They can't even use the excuse of poor form, or not seeing it coming etc. It was obvious in the summer that we were a couple of quality attackers short.)

 

What the new West Brom that have scored 20 compared to our 14 this season? Lol

 

Profit is revenue - expenditure. All the money on the training ground, pavilion, any facilities, players, wages, staff, marketing, etc. is included in our expenditure. So profit is all the money we have left even after that investment.

It's because we have no strikers. When we get a good striker, he'll convert those chances that we don't create.

 

That equates to a goal every 180 minutes...... #boredasfuck

 

When were you last at St Mary's, Tom? Or do you just pay your hundreds of pounds to the crook Murdoch? If you watch the team from the stands you can see much more than on telly ..... our biggest issue in my opinion is that our front players don't always move enough so the defence/midfield have to play the ball sideways in an attempt to pull the opposition defence out. If you're one of these "pump it forward" group of "fans", I suggest we get Crouch back, sack Puel and replace him with Big Sam. We can then pump high balls into the box constantly and maybe get a few that way .....

 

Anyway, putting the red card to one side, I wanted seven points from this week. We're still just on target for that, and potentially with no goals conceded in the process. Now I appreciate that it is far from a given that we will ultimately achieve that target - pretty difficult when you find it hard to score - but it is still possible. And we can go into nice Xmas break on somewhat of a high, in my view, if we achieve it (if we're not in 7th, then at most we'll be just two points from 7th).

Compared to the present players Rickie Lambert might just do a job for us. Can't be any worse.

 

I went to the Watford game, the Sunderland league cup game and the EL games. Won't be shelling out £40 for any league games anytime soon.

 

My mate said JRod will be kicking himself for missing that sitter, well I reckon he could try but would probably miss................
