We looked ok in patches and yet again get a drubbing. No conviction in attack or defence I guess. They say it isn't these games vs top 6... but others aren't get drubbed every game. Brucie at least made us more resilient.
Well..... it seems until we ran out of steam we made a good fist of it. Nett result tonight is that we have only made out goal difference worse not points difference. that has to be good news and a tough game out of the way.
The name change should no longer be to "Hull City Nil" but "Hull City Nil Opposition Three". It's ok saying we are playing with a bit more fight but we can't keep shipping 3 every game.
no disgrace in that for me, at least we gave it a go against a quality Spurs team, the only issue I have is that Phelan didn`t play this formation earlier. We showed a threat, and looked a match for this lot until the second went in, tbh we do not have a lot of quality, who knows with a little luck (and a little more composure) we could have had a couple at 0-1 down. We have tried the negative approach and lost by 5 and 6, lets stick with this and at least go down fighting.

I dont like to use the B word as it sets Charon into a frenzy. But i dont remember too many drubbings under him? I like to set Charon tasks he'll scuttle away to pour over past results now.
