And Puel has no bollocks. If he had he would have sacrificed a defensive player for an attacking player. But oh no, toothless 10 man Stoke provided too much of a threat. We're a boring team with a boring manager.

 

We were never going to score, its now hopefully blindingly obvious to the board that we need a striker now, at the very least. Our attacking play is pretty woeful at the moment, which is a shame as our defense is very good, and we really could be higher up the table with a few more goals. How many teams have scored less than us in the league? Bet it's not many... Would've taken a draw at the start of the game but in the context it is very, very disappointing.

 

Well I hoped we would get a point before kickoff so I'm not complaining. We need a striker but we knew that before the match.

 

No meltdown with me. We were the better side but couldn't score. I think we'd have beaten 11, oddly enough. They were disciplined but made no effort to even counter attack. Yes, we need to be more clinical, but everyone knows we have no decent strikers. Now please buy one!

 

Funny one really, as everyone is disappointed yet most of the players played well, Just the age old problems that need addressing.

I never like it when we play against 10 as it never seems to end in a win. 10 men defending is always difficult.

How long do we say "it happens"? It has happened all season long for ****s sake. Austin is injured and our other strikers can't score for ****. In short, we're relying on Boufal to conjure up some magic and it's nowhere near good enough. I am sick to death with our lack of goals. It has to change otherwise this season is going to be ****e.

We look so toothless going forward. Part of me blames our poor transfer window, but puel has to take some of the blame. It's been a long time since I've seen us play such boring unimaginative football. So many of our players are out of form, that the manager has to take the blame for some.

 

I'm honestly sitting here wondering whether we will find a goal in the squad that we have. There are many reasons why we're not scoring goals but there's no doubt we are hopeless going forwards at the moment. Confidence and belief are shot. Looking at the Spurs goals we are nowhere near that level.

 

Stoppage time has to be the biggest bugbear in football for me these days and it's implementation really doesn't speak well to the competence of referees since it only requires the ability to count. Such an antiquated system and it's not even used well.

Anyway, time to nip off before the ****storm closes down all exits out of Meltdown City.
