I started the match hoping for a 0-0. Now I'm worrying about a 0-0. Crackers.

I think it would be the first time since his early season diamond formation, that I'd be really looking at Puel. Not the players - they are what they are, and it doesn't sound like they've been poor today. Puel was far too conservative with his substitutions, especially given that didn't have a third attacking option on the bench. Tadic and Jay were the dice to be rolled.

But hey, not FT yet.

 

Not really gone for it have we. Apart from when we battered them with corners.

When the CMs play deep with the ball we have 4/5 players camped in the same area just playing it around one or two Stoke players. Whilst the front three are totally isolated against 2/3 stoke players each.

 

Goes away for meeting w engineer. Comes back 45 min later. No goals. Not surprised.

 

I agree, given we know we cannot score anymore 0-0 is a fantastic result. The best possible in fact

Our subs have unfortunately made little impact.

 

Let's just face it, we will set up every game for a draw.

 

I'm going to blame Puel for Jay missing from about 2yds.

 

4 mins of added time to avoid a shambolic result.

 

I don't think I expect us to score any more. Failing to score against ten men will/would at least be a slight variation on the oh-so-repetitive theme of this season.

I do think Claude wasn't brave but you're right in the fact that had that gone in...

I agree about the subs but it isn't Puels fault he has very few good attacking players to work with.
Austin, Boufal, redmond and Tadic are the only players that have contributed anything near regularly to our attack.

Yes. To not score against 10 men for 75% of the match is shambolic and disgraceful.
