Walker with a completely pointless foul right at the end of the half. Didn't come to anything, but that was a silly risk. 1-0 HT. Played pretty well, though we haven't tested Marshall enough. Need to keep it up, tighten up at the back a bit and stretch the lead. Hull will keep fighting until the end, if we can't put more distance between us.
We shouldn't have a problem killing games off like this, but always seem to make life difficult for ourselves. Our cutting edge football in the final 3rd is bloody crap these days. So static and slow.
Should be 2 or 3 up but I'm pleased enough with how we're playing, just need Kane to make some better runs and sharpen up in general. Hull aren't out of this at 1-0 though, it only takes one mistake and the momentum can shift. Hopefully we can get a couple of quick goals in the second half and look at taking off Toby and Kane early.

Too many defenders and DMs on the pitch! At WHL against teams like Hull, Spurs should approach the game more offensively. To do is to dare and all of that glory seeking motto! Spurs are easily in control and should drop the DMs (and give them a rest) and bring on some creativity and offensive-minded players. Good to see Huddlestone and Dawson back!
