Thats the one i want i'll pass it on to a mate who might help. but not promising, perhaps someone with a bit more influence can help
Must be an AC/DC fan there in charge of the music already (e.g. Thunderstruck!) , so good chance for "the Jack" if we can find out who it is! How about : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Jack_(song)
Recently my favourite AC/DC song has become "Let me put my love into you" off Back In Black. Epic, epic song... and if they hadn't written such daft/cheesy lyrics to it I'm convinced it could've been one of their biggest hits!
Was listening to Back in Black in the car on Thursday, class album, followed that with a bit of Quo!!
Jager, seen Quo about 8 times back in the 80's. Should have seen AC/DC last year at Wembley as a guest of a company we work with, but had to decline. Sent two other lads from work who got wasted and had a great time. My 13 year old son was not amused, as he wanted to go.
seen quo up in wembley stadium and knebworth backing queen in 1985, also seen quo in live-aid 84, milton keynes, swansea brangwen hall, shepton mallet a few times seen bon jovi in wembley in 95 I think, acdc twickemham 2003, def leppard in kiev, and zz top in estonia, and the ultimate leningrad cowboys in helsinki only groups I want to see now is guns and aerosmith, don't if I will ever see them
Jager, I was at the Queen Knebworth gig, Queen were fantastic that day, I was also at the Milton Keynes quo gig. Saw then at the NEC a couple of time when old Charlie boy was there. Missed Live aid my mate went. Gigs been too: Rush, Rainbow, Whitesnake, Saxon, UFO, Stones, Bon Jovi.. etc. Must say not too loud Michael Jackson was good at The Arms Park. Aerosmith is on my list of gigs to do. Have been to some gigs I better not say.... Always wanted to see ELO!!
Well I know who to go with to see aerosmith now I also saw bb king in a bar called bb king in Moscow , also met John mcenroe playing guitar there and singing , real down to earth guy and was going rounds with him and a few mates lol
Now that must have been an interesting gig seeing Mcenroe. BB King must have been good. Back in the 80's went to at least one gig a month with my mate. Do like a gig or two, don't get too many these days always have to take the wife and it's Kylie etc... Not that I don't mind a bit of Kylie, and you know which bit I like most.
It's those fabulous couplets, right? You're all a bunch of bastards, I'd love to see AC/DC. Seen Maiden and met Bruce Dickinson separately, nice guy to boot. Tool were epic, I could list bands I've seen but I feel it would be a fruitless exercise . I have some obscure heavy tastes sometimes...
