Have been to WHL a few times during my London years in the 60's but never seen City play there. Saw a couple of games in 1960 when they completed the League/FA Cup double. Was happy at one (beat Arsenal 4-2) but sad at the other ( beat Sunderland 5-0 in a 6th round replay). Loved watching Danny Blanchflower play in those days. Today we could hopefully manage to take a point.
According to the London rags, "Spurs will smash Hull tonight" and "Spurs will destroy Hull". God I hope we can prove them wrong.
same with us fans... on the prediction league, just how many of you stated that we would lose? bet I was the ONLY one to state that we would win.
I am only quoting what has been written by the London rags, even for them a bit unnecessary as hopefully their words will come back to choke them.
Some people's automatic response to someone pointing out they are wrong is to call the person who is correct pedantic.
3-1 to Spurs if they start like a Cheetah chasing a rabbit, but we are the Tigers and if we know this, we may get a 3-2 win.
A bit later than I hoped (my laptop died so I've had to go get a new one), but here's a couple of vids.
Can't see us getting anything tonight, but having watch Everton V Arsenal last night, the last thing we need to do is what we did at Boro or it will be 5-0. Everton started similar to us at Boro and were overrun, they then changed and took the game to Arsenal and came out on top.
Same team hopefully, I'd personally start Jakupovic but I'm not all that bothered, I think Marshall has done fine. I can't remember the last time Huddlestone followed one good performance up with another, hopefully that changes tonight. Diomande was excellent when not isolated, but Snodgrass will have to be very careful, the eyes of the media will be focusing intently on him this evening.
