Agreed, but it boils my piss when I see his name because it underlines how badly managed a club we are. He could and should have been here and for a relatively small wodge - Another class player slipped through our fingers. Respect to the lad though
Hindsight is a wonderful thing - not sure any of us thought we should've signed him for the fees being touted at the time - think we all wanted him but not for the apparent £8-£10m - and when Chelsea paid £20m+ for him most on here laughed. He looks class in a very good side though - hopefully he'll remember SAFC tonight and stick one in his own top corner in the 93rd minute at 0-0!
Speak for yourself mate. You've bandied that sentence around before and the majority on here disagreed with you, including me. The figures touted were around £5-6m and he was more than worth that.
Really confident for tonight since I heard that Moyes has stayed tight lipped over our injury problems in order to withhold an advantage from Chelsea. They must be sh*tting themselves. Seriously though, I fancy a good effort for Bradley will yield a nice draw.
Billy's probably your man. As we're not expected to win tonight and Dingdong is out, why not play Rodwell. He will keep his record and we will be resting a midfielder for a game we have a chance of winning.
Injured mate, not that it would make a lot of difference. Not sure whether to watch it tbh. Probblies end up in a strop. Again.
Have a feeling we'll sneak a draw. Much like when I predicted we'd lose to Swansea - it's just a very "Sunderland" thing to do.
Could be "The Alamo" again tonight but without John Wayne. 8/1 home win, but this is Sunderland so you never know
No problem, just spent the best part of the day recovering my laptop from a Windows 10 update otherwise I would have updated the thread to keep it on the first page.
I think half of this board is beaten before we start tonight....fcuk Chelsea....haway the lads and get stuck into them!!!!!
