    Don't be ridiculous. When do goalkeepers ever score? Ah, I see what you did there. Those with memories of that game may also recall a great headed goal from a certain Jay Rodriguez. Would settle for one of those again

    I see Mark Hughes was full of praise for Saints. Apparently his 400th game as a manager. Fair enough, I'm full of praise for him. What a player he was. One of those favourite non-saint players for years then he played with us when we were pretty crap. One favourite memory was a 30 yard volley that hit the bar against United at Old Trafford and the whole stadium erupted with "Hughsie". Shame it didn't go in though. That was the 3-3 when their keeper let a scuffed Le Tiss shot through his legs. Also memorable for the wonderful nutmeg by Marian on Stam for the opening goal.

    Sparky's done well at Stoke and they've stuck with him. Of course I want him to be cursing their inability to defend a corner again. Anyone remember when we used to score regularly from corners? Wednesday would be a good time for the team to remember how to do it.

    I'd welcome Crouch on a short term loan. He still looks useful. Would offer something completely different......which may be nice.

    Hughes 'scored' a goal which wasn't given because it hit the back stanchion and came out again. Wouldn't happen now of course....goal technology would take care of that.

    Played his best football with us. We didn't always just oik it up to the big fella. And he scored a pen. I remember everyone around me having babies as he walked up to get the ball. And he stroked it in like Sir Richard of Lambert:1980_boogie_down:

    We showed the world tall guys can play back then, so why not prove that old, tall guys can play too. I'M IN :emoticon-0157-sun:

    I remember being 2-0 up, was it? First season back in the PL, and we threw it away. Cameron Jerome equalised with an absolute worldy, possibly the best he ever struck a ball in his life.
